Blizzard Entertainment added Windows 10 DX12 support to its MMO World of Warcraft (WoW) and fans of the game responded with a warm welcome to new features such as multi-threading. Blizzard Entertainment contacted Microsoft about bringing the same improvements to WoW gamers that remain on Windows 7.
Microsoft is ending support for Windows 7 . After January 14, 2020, Windows 7 will no longer be officially supported by Microsoft. My Ryzen 9 3900X works fine on Windows 7 in my old x370 board, however I seemed to have lost all my USB ports on the back of my motherboard since the on-die Matisse USB 3.0 controller is not supported on Windows 7 and has no drivers from AMD.
