Jul 12, 2015 · Having formerly had an analogue TV with a Freeview set top box, I was able to not only watch a TV programme, but also record up to two other TV programmes at the same time. However, we have recently bought a Samsung Smart TV, but this has no programme recording capability. The TV I have bought is the Samsung ue40JU6740, it is 40" with a curved screen and is UHD. Brilliant picture, and it has wifi, is recordable, and has freestat built in. There is only one tuner so can only record one channel but can do so whilst TV in standby so can still record something while out. Had it a week and am very please with it. Same problem. I am trying to use a cloud DVR with my samsung smart TV and the remote. The forward and rewind and pause buttons don't work on Samsung. I don't want to go buy a roku just for that. Would be a pity if Spectrum does not make this work with Samsung TVs! We are not talking about a nice company. Samsung is a giant that sells a lot of TVs.

How to Download Third Party apps to your Samsung Smart TV Turn your Samsung Smart TV on. Navigate on settings and select the Smart Hub option. Select the Apps section. You will be prompted to enter pin after clicking on the apps panel. With your remote, enter 12345 as the pin. This is the default code for all Samsung Smart TVs. Now a window with Developer mode configuration will appear.
