Just set the proxy server as the gateway for the client. See if that works For XP. Right click on Network Places. Select Properties. DoubleClick on TCP/IP. Find the Gateway Entry in IP. Re-enter your proxy server in the Gateway box. Click ok on out. Hope that helps.
