Dec 02, 2010 · I have a laptop with windows 7 on it and it picks up the wireless internet offered here fine, so I would like to see if it is possible to hook my PS3 to my laptop using a ethernet cable and feed off of the laptops wireless internet so I could play online games on my PS3. I also have a router, and I have the ethernet cable in the LAN port on both the PS3 and the router. The router isn't lighting up, but I can't hook it up to the modem because it's upstairs and hooked up to the computer and phone, while the PS3 is downstairs.
